Shipping policy

At Studio D-ja Oy, we deliver your design pieces with care and transparency. This Shipping Policy details our pre-order, made-to-order, and in-stock products, including delivery timelines and costs for purchases on our Shopify store (studiodja.com). We comply with Finnish and EU consumer protection laws for a seamless experience.

1. Pre-Order Products

We offer two pre-order products: TEX004 Wall Lamp and TEX006 Table Lamp.

  • Delivery Timeline: Shipping begins after November 10, 2025.
  • Payment: Full payment or installments are processed at checkout. 
  • Post-Pre-Order: After October 20, 2025, these products become full price made-to-order products (see below).
  • Refunds: A 14-day cooling-off period starts upon delivery, per EU law.

2. Made-to-Order Products

Made-to-order products are crafted on request for sustainable, bespoke design. They are not available for immediate purchase.

  • Availability: Email us at info@studiodja.com to check production capacity and materials. Customised options have tailored pricing and terms.
  • Preparation Time: Typically 1–2 months, depending on customisation and workload.
  • Payment and Terms: Agreed with the customer before production begins.
  • Refunds: The 14-day cooling-off period applies to standard made-to-order products but not to customised items, in line with EU law.
  • Note: We may decline requests based on capacity or material constraints.

3. In-Stock Products

In-stock products are ready for immediate purchase and dispatch.

  • Delivery Timeline: Dispatched within 5 working days after purchase.
  • Payment: Full payment or installments is processed at checkout via secure gateways. 
  • Refunds: A 14-day cooling-off period applies from delivery, per EU law.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on parcel size and destination, using Posti (Finland’s postal service).  Delivery rates will be calculated at check out.

  • Finland (Domestic Home Delivery):
    • XXS parcel (3 x 25 x 35 cm): €6.90
    • S parcel (11 x 32 x 42 cm): €8.90
    • M parcel (19 x 36 x 60 cm): €10.90
    • L parcel (36 x 37 x 60 cm): €12.90
    • XL parcel (40 x 60 x 100 cm): €19.90
  • Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia (Standard Europe Home Delivery):
    • XXS parcel: €9.90
    • S parcel: €11.90
    • M parcel: €13.90
    • L parcel: €16.90
    • XL parcel: €19.90
  • Denmark, Germany, Sweden (Standard Europe Home Delivery):
    • S parcel: €19.90
    • M parcel: €20.90
    • L parcel: €28.90
    • XL parcel: €34.90
  • Other EU Countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain):
    • S parcel: €22.90
    • M parcel: €23.90
    • L parcel: €35.90
    • XL parcel: €45.90

5. General Shipping Information

  • Shipping Regions: We ship to the EU. For non-EU inquiries (e.g., UK, US), email info@studiodja.com.
  • Tracking: All orders include tracking, emailed upon shipment.
  • Delivery Delays: We dispatch in-stock products to Posti within 5 working days and pre-order products after November 10, 2025. Posti delivery takes 2-5 working days (Finland), 5-10 working days (EU). If delays occur, we’ll notify you via email with an updated timeline. You may cancel and receive a full refund (including shipping costs) if delivery is significantly delayed, per EU law. Contact info@studiodja.com or visit studiodja.com/contact.
  • Returns: Pre-order and in-stock products have a 14-day return period from delivery (unused, original condition) for a full refund, including shipping costs. Return shipping is at your expense. Customised made-to-order products are exempt, per EU law. See our Return Policy for details.

6. Compliance with EU and Finnish Law

Studio D-ja Oy adheres to the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Finnish Consumer Protection Act. Prices include 25.5% Finnish VAT. We ensure transparency in pricing, delivery, and your rights, including the 14-day cooling-off period for non-customised items. For disputes, contact us or refer to the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
